My favorite thing about her account-which I’d never heard of prior to your post-is that she attributes that neck hump to any and everything she’s marketing a solution for. One post it’s tech neck (she’s got a course if exercises for you to buy to combat it), one is it’s your pillow (affiliate link provided), one it’s breastfeeding (another affiliate link).

Yes, yes, yes! But you know what's even worse than patriarchal capitalists profiting from the harms to babies and women from not breastfeeding? That would be the adoption of gender ideology from former mother to mother breastfeeding support groups like La Leche League International who have abandoned the mother/baby dyad in pursuit of supporting all "parents" to "human milk feed" babies. No mothers or even women required! https://lucyleader.substack.com/p/is-la-leche-league-international

Thank you for always and continuously calling this bullshit out. And for making me laugh.

Personally I wouldn't even say formula is a breastmilk substitute.

I consider it child abuse, as well as poison. I could go on.

I'd be interested to see how she was sitting in order to gain a humpback. I've been breastfeeding for over 3 years and am yet to achieve this goal.

I don’t follow “influencers” but this takes the biscuit. So glad you didn’t remove it and most importantly called out on it!

Guess what?? That same formula company is now a major sponsor & the official infant formula for the National Women’s Soccer League. Since we have two pregnant folks on our local team, they just held “the largest baby shower in the world” at their game this weekend sponsored by that infant formula company with free gift bags & donations of free formula to the local diaper bank. Have not seen any promotion or support of breast/chest feeding or donor milk. Such an egregious disregard of the WHO code. Sad to see professional female athletes allow themselves to be used this way. Have emailed our local team, NWSL, & every breastfeeding advocacy organization. I am upset this is still happening in the US.
