RFK teams up with Bobbie Formula; Now What?
Why is the head of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, standing next to Bobbie's CEO and talking about 'cleaning up formula'? Who benefits? And who loses?
FRIENDSI’ll be brief because my real goal is not for you to read this post and pitch in $5 (tho that would be SWELL). My goal is to RECRUIT YOU. 😈😈😈
You might already have a strong opinion about the man in the center of the photo.
Perhaps you pulled your boobs out and confronted the woman next to him.
To be sure, there’s a lot to unpack about the new alliance featured above (like, would you trust that dude on the left to feed your newborn??).
Like I was saying, my real goal is for you join our Zoom meeting next week to get answers to the following questions:
Will this alliance help protect more newborns from tainted formula?
What does this have to do with 626 lawsuits against formula companies happening right now?
How can this group prevent another formula shortage?
Is this a step towards more ethical formula production and advertising?
Where do better ingredients fit into our motherbaby advocacy work?
How will this help breastfeeding moms?
How can we support bottlefeeding moms who want better formula options?
If I don’t like what’s happening, what can I do about it? WILL IT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE????
We got answers! We got moves! We got a whole bunch of radical, passionate, hard knocking, lunatic women who will be thrilled to meet you. RSVP NOW!
It’s obvious. RFK is trying to clear the formula field in order to boost Bobby. He will argue that the other big three manufacturers of formula are evil monopolies which they are. But he’s not about to get rid of formula. He’s going to boost Bobby as the only good clean formulabecause it is organic and made in the US. It’s a cynical trick that nobody should fall for if they think about it for more than one minute.
I can't rationally discuss this topic. 😆
